This list is not exhaustive but indicative only). We hope you will provide us with this information. However, if you do not want to disclose your personally identifiable information to us, please do not submit it. This does mean that in some cases we will not be able to provide you the service you have requested.  

We may also collect non-personally identifiable information from you when you visit the Site but some of which may be classed as personal information by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) (e.g. your IP address, browser type, domain name, etc.). This information is collected and analysed in the aggregate in order to improve the function and content of the website.

INFORMATION WE RECEIVE FROM OTHER SOURCES

This is information we receive about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. In this case we will have informed you when we collected that data if we intend to share such data internally or combine it with data collected on this site, and obtained your consent to such sharing. We use the information that is collected about you for a variety of purposes. You will be informed about these purposes at the time of collection. In general, however, we foresee the following uses:

  • Website visitors
    • Information about you may be used to add you to our email subscription list should you so choose, provide your name to members of SUSSEX CATENIANS solely in connection with your expressed interest in SUSSEX CATENIANS or The Catenian Association, provide services or products, analyse trends and statistics, enhance the operation of the website(s), serve content and send informational and promotional materials about us or otherwise communicate with you.
  • Members
    • Information about members and/or consultants will in addition be used to provide, confirm and fulfil services requested, communicate with you, promote our services and your agreed services, ship to you data or literature about our services, and administer payments, service requests and possible problems and disputes with dispatchers and other service providers.

ONWARD TRANSFERS

We may employ other organisations or agents to perform functions on our behalf. Examples of such functions include fulfilling service orders, delivering packages, email administrative functions, processing credit/debit card payments, and providing customer service. These organisations or agents are under a contractual obligation to use confidential data received from us ONLY for purposes that fall within the functions for which they were hired.  

We may disclose information that we collect about you when we are promoting the SUSSEX CATENIANS or the Catenian Association and its services but only along with agreed services limited to that you provide in line with the terms of our agreement with you and where we have reason to believe that this is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities that may be harming you, us or others. We may also disclose information when we believe the law requires it.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect about you remains accurate, timely and secure. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure and while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant its complete security. We shall not be responsible for harm that you or any person may suffer as a result of a breach of confidentiality in respect to your use of the Site or any information you transmit to the Site.

Personally-identifiable information will be kept in active files or systems as long as needed to meet the purposes for which it was collected or as required to perform the contractual relationship with you. Thereafter, we will securely dispose of it and ensure its erasure. We will only ask for and store information necessary for the agreed purpose and for as long as that purpose remains current and in accord with our agreement with you.

If you identify any inaccuracy in your personal information, or if you need to make a change or would like to verify such information, please contact us so that we may update your information in our records or you may go online to our website and update your own information where such access is made available. We will securely dispose of any information which identifies you within a reasonable time should you request in writing that we so do. We will make available details of all information we hold about you upon request and within a reasonable time frame. Such information for ease of your access will be made available to you in .csv format.

Please describe in as much detail as possible the ways in which you believe that our Policy has not been complied with. We will investigate your complaint promptly.

INFORMATION GATHERED FROM WEBFORMS

Any information provided by a user is used to communicate directly with that user and is NEVER shared or where required for an authorised financial proposal or purpose. The data is stored securely. Users may request to no longer be contacted (unsubscribe') and we will honour any such requests. In addition, users have a clear option to unsubscribe from any email communications and we will honour any such requests.

USE OF WEB BEACONS

When we send you emails, we may include a web beacon to allow us to determine the number of people who open our emails. When you click on a link in an email, we may record this individual response to allow us to customise our offerings to you. Web beacons collect only limited information, such as a cookie identifier, time and date of a page being viewed, and a description of the page on which the Web Beacon resides (the URL).
